Hydrogen water: why ordinary water is no longer enough
We Are Almost Entirely Made of Water
As everyone knows, the human body consists largely of water. At the cellular level, this percentage is even higher. Water is not only a means of transporting nutrients, but also forms the basis of virtually every process in the body. From energy production to recovery, and from focus to sleep.
Yet many people automatically assume that all water is the same. That as long as you drink enough, everything will be fine. In reality, the quality of water is at least as important as the quantity.
Why Water Is Less Effective Today
In nature, water is never “dead.” It flows, moves, is exposed to light and contains a rich mix of minerals. This gives water structure and energy, making it easy for the body to absorb.
In the modern world, things are different. Water comes through pipes, is filtered and treated, and loses many of its natural properties in the process. For example, we miss the ionization that was partly created by copper pipes in the past. In addition, water is now hardly exposed to natural light, such as the sun’s infrared light, which plays a role in the structure of water.
Modern drinking water also often contains fewer minerals and salts than it did in the past. The result is water that the body recognizes and absorbs less effectively. You drink, but hydrate less effectively.
The Role of Water Structure and Energy
Although this is still a relatively overlooked subject, it is becoming increasingly clear that water is more than just H₂O. In nature, water has a certain order and structure, influenced in part by movement, minerals and light.
When water loses these properties, this can affect how effectively the body absorbs and uses it. This is one of the reasons why people may still feel tired or dehydrated despite drinking enough water. It also explains why cucumber and watermelon, for example, are so hydrating for the body. The water in vegetables and fruit has a naturally absorbable structure for the body.
Where Hydrogen Water Makes a Difference
This is where hydrogen water comes in. Although it does not completely address all the factors mentioned above, it can significantly improve how water behaves in the body.
By enriching water with molecular hydrogen (H₂), its interaction at the cellular level changes. Hydrogen is the smallest molecule in the world, allowing it to penetrate deeply into cells and even into the mitochondria, where energy is produced.
This means that water not only hydrates, but also actively supports processes in the body.
What Does Hydrogen Do in the Body?
Molecular hydrogen is known for its powerful antioxidant properties. It helps neutralize free radicals, which is important because oxidative stress plays a major role in aging and fatigue.
Hydrogen water is also often associated with:
- more energy
- better hydration
- faster recovery after exercise
- support for a healthy inflammatory response
Rather than simply replenishing fluids, it helps the body function more efficiently at the cellular level.
Why Absorption Matters So Much
Many people focus on how much water they drink, but forget that what ultimately matters is what the body actually absorbs. If water is not absorbed properly, it simply has less effect. In fact, it can even be counterproductive. When water is not absorbed properly, it is quickly excreted, and this always takes minerals with it, such as magnesium and potassium. These are two minerals that people generally tend to be deficient in.
Hydrogen water may improve this absorption because it behaves differently in the body. The small hydrogen molecules help water enter the cells more quickly and deeply, where it is truly needed.
The Alina Hydrogen Water Bottle
The Alina Hydrogen Water Bottle was developed to make this process simple and accessible. Within minutes, the bottle enriches ordinary drinking water with a high concentration of molecular hydrogen.
Using advanced SPE and PEM technology, the water is enriched in a pure way, without unwanted by-products such as ozone. This means you always drink clean and safe water, now with additional benefits.
The bottle is compact, rechargeable (charging cable included) and made from durable, BPA-free materials. This makes it suitable for daily use, both at home and on the go.
More Than Just Hydration
What sets this bottle apart from many other products on the market is its combination of quality and effectiveness. With hydrogen concentrations of up to 5.0 ppm, it is among the more powerful options, while cheaper alternatives often remain considerably lower.
In addition, the process is completely clean and safe, without residual substances such as ozone. This means you are not only better hydrated, but can also genuinely benefit from the properties of hydrogen.
Many users notice a difference in energy, focus and recovery within a short time, simply by approaching water in a different way.
How to Get the Most from Hydrogen Water
Hydrogen water works best when it becomes part of your daily routine. Rather than using it sporadically, consistency is key.
For optimal results, it is recommended to drink the water shortly after production, ideally within 10 to 20 minutes. This allows you to make the most of the available hydrogen.
For most people, one to three bottles a day are enough to notice a difference.
How We Use Hydrogen Water Ourselves
For us, good hydration starts first thing in the morning. During the night, you lose an average of 0.5 to 1 liter of fluid, including important minerals. We want to replenish these as quickly as possible. That is why we start the day with approximately 0.5 liters of water. While 300 ml of water (preferably filtered water) is being enriched in the hydrogen bottle, we also prepare a glass with 200 ml of lukewarm water. We add approximately 1.5 grams of Celtic sea salt, along with half a lime or lemon. Optionally, we add chlorophyll and fulvic acid for additional support.
In the morning, we also take magnesium citrate, which helps with muscle relaxation and replenishing minerals. In the evening, we choose magnesium bisglycinate instead, as it is more focused on relaxation and sleep. This way, the body is immediately supplied in the morning with easily absorbable fluids, thanks to both the hydrogen and the minerals present.
Hydrogen water also remains a regular part of our routine throughout the day. At the office, there is always someone who makes a bottle once or twice a day, often with a small pinch of Celtic sea salt to further support hydration. On average, we drink around 600 ml of hydrogen water per person per day. At the same time, we do not believe in an all-or-nothing approach. Unlike light, where consistency is essential, with hydrogen water every amount contributes. Even one glass a day can already make a noticeable difference.
A Modern Solution to a Modern Problem
Just as with light, we also see with water that the modern world has moved us further away from how it was originally intended to be. Whereas we were once naturally exposed to living, mineral-rich and energy-rich water, that is no longer the standard today. Hydrogen water is not a magical solution that fixes everything, but it is a powerful step in the right direction. It helps make water more functional for the body again, in a world where that no longer happens automatically. Health starts with the basics. And water may well be one of the most important aspects of health. It is not only how much you drink, but above all what you drink, that determines how your body functions.
With the Alina Hydrogen Water Bottle, you can turn ordinary water into something closer to how it was intended to be. Purer, more effective and aligned with what your body needs.
Because ultimately, it is not about doing more, but about doing better what you already do every day.
